Narnia.com released the first pic of Dragon Eustace -- http://www.narnia.com/us/goldwater/#/home

If that pic doesn't load for you (as it didn't load for one of my friends) try this one --

What does everyone think of it? I think it looks pretty good for coloring and everything, but the CGI looks a little... unfinished to me.

WOW!!!! I LOVE IT :D ;) :) It looks like it just came right out of the book, just like C.S.Lewis wrote it! That is the most AMAZING dragon I have ever seen :ymapplause:

A member on here pointed out to me (it was in the chatroom, and I can't remember which member it was. Sorry. :( :-s ) that they can't see the arm band on his left arm. But it might be on the right. Can anyone see it on the right? Which arm did Eustace put it on in the 2nd Clip?

I find it quite interesting that the deathwater pool is inside the cave. My younger brother took one look and said, "I think he was pushed."

And it makes sense. You have two lost lords discover a dragon's cave full of treasure and a pool that turns things to gold. They fight, much like Edmund and Caspian, and one is pushed in. The other gathers up treasure and turns into a dragon.

(That theory, at least, takes care of the fact that the guy in the water has all his clothes on.)

That would take care of that fact - which would be a bit...hard to show, in a kids' movie.

Edmund looks like he was photoshopped in - maybe from Narrowhaven scene? But Lucy and Caspian look like that might be an actual photo.

The Dragon looks GREAT! I'm so glad - the BBC dragon is still fresh in my mind. #:-s

Of course if these two islands are merged Eustace can't be there when they discover the gold water. Which is sad. :(

Eustace+Jill - at the distance the dragon is, it would be hard to see the arm band even if it were there - which I'm sure it is. And it was the right, in the movie.

This image looks fantastic, though I find it hard to believe this is a shot from the film. Still, the world, the dragon, everything looks great.

I don't really mind them consolidating the islands this way. I'm not thrilled about it, but as long as it works for the film, I'm ok with it.

Boy, this would make me happy were it not for all the other stuff these days.

Eustace-and-Jill, in the 2nd clip Eustace put the armring on his right arm. But in the book it says several time that it was on his left arm. It was probably just some absentminded change, they did without thinking.
the dragon looks pretty good. It looks almost exactly like the dragon head on the DT.

Goldwater rocks! Here are some of my thoughts:

I think it's cool how Edmund, Lucy, and Caspian are peering into the water a little solemn. It's good to know that they might feel sorry for the lord in the movie. :( :)

Is that the lord in the water? I can only tell that's him by his hand!

It's great to see all that gold treasure lying around. It makes you wonder why it's there.

There's a DRAGON! :D This is most likely DragonEustace we're seeing. Even if it isn't, that dragon looks fantastic! That's definetly not how I imagined him, since I was sure they'd make it green, but the copper-brown works very well! I can't wait to see more! :ymapplause:

Overall, I think Goldwater looks awesome! Awhile back, I thought combinding Dragon Island and Deathwater Island would be dreadful, but now, I think this will work greatly! ;)

This quote from MovieWeb is very encouraging.
MovieWeb writes: wrote:
One of the best parts of the footage that we saw, besides the incredibly real looking dragon, was the relationship between the unlikable Eustace and Reepicheep.

(Emphasis mine.)

I was concerned about how Dragon Eustace would look but it appears that most people who have seen him in the previews have been impressed. :ymapplause:

I always thought of Eustace as a green dragon so I was quite disapointed. But I hope I am not that disapointed when I see him brown in the movie.

Dragon Eustace looks good. As far as the whole picture goes everything looks very good. Are those bodies turned to gold in the pond? I can't wait until Dec 10th!

The Dragon looks really huge! I admire the color too. :) It's perfect if you'd ask me.
